The BJP is the first party which has appointed a person of Purvanchal origin as its Delhi unit chief, Tiwari said.
"The respect given to me by the BJP is the respect for all Purvanchali and recognition of their contribution to the development of Delhi. I believe Purvanchali will express their gratitude to the party by enabling it win MCD polls," he said.
