Arjun Singh's son Ajay loses Satna seat

Two-time BJP MP Ganesh Singh today defeated his Congress rival Ajay Singh from Satna constituency by a margin of 8,688 votes in a keenly contested polls.
Ajay, son of late Union Minister Arjun Singh, is Leader of Opposition in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly.
Ganesh Singh secured 3,75,288 as against 3,66,600 votes secured by Ajay. This was the lowest winning margin in the 29-seats of the state which was largely lapped up by the BJP.
Ajay was trying his luck for the first time in the Lok Sabha polls and has been an MLA from the neighbouring Sidhi Assembly seat for many years.
