Army felicitates its Commonwealth Games medal winners

Army Chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag today felicitated the force personnel who have won medals at the recently-held Commonwealth Games in Galsgow, Scotland.
Six Army sports persons, trained under its 'Mission Olympic' wing, bagged two gold, three silver and one bronze medals in the Commonwealth Games.
The medal winners were felicitated by the Army Chief with cash incentives and distinguished awards. General Suhag exhorted the Army sports person to bring more medals in the upcoming Asian Games.
The medal winners include Naib Subedar Jitu Rai, Naib Subedar Gurpal Singh, Naib Subedar Sukhendey, Naib Subedar K Ravi Kumar, Naib Subedar L Devendro Singh and Havildar Chandrakant Mali.

Navy Chief Admiral Robin Dhowan had earlier felicitated Sanjeev Rajput and Harpreet Singh of the Navy who have won silver medals in shooting events at the Commonwealth Games.
