An army jawan, deployed on duty at Fazalpur here, has been found dead under mysterious circumstances, police said today.
Ramchandra Keechar (39), a resident of Jhunjhunu, was on duty at Quarter guard in Fazalpur when suddenly his colleagues heard sound of a gun fire yesterday. They rushed to the spot and found Keechar in a pool of blood. They took him to an army hospital where he was declared brought dead, they said.
The body of the deceased has been handed over to his family after post mortem, they said.
Further investigations in the case are on, police said, adding that suicide angle cannot be ruled out.
