Arrested AAP MLA doesn't need hospitalisation, discharged:

Arrested AAP MLA Manoj Kumar, who was referred to AIIMS this morning with complaints of chest pain and headache, did not need admission to the hospital and was discharged, doctors at the premier institute said after conducting a medical check-up on him.
He was discharged from AIIMS around 2 PM and police took him back for interrogation, said a police officer.
The 35-year-old Kondli legislator, a diabetic, was admitted to Lal Bahadur Shastri (LBS) Hospital in East Delhi last night after he complained of chest pain and headache within hours of being sent to police custody by a Delhi court in a case of alleged cheating and land-grabbing.

He was referred to AIIMS today morning by LBS Hospital.
"A team of cardiologists and neurologists at AIIMS conducted a medical check-up on him and reached the conclusion that Kumar does not require admission to the hospital," said a senior doctor at AIIMS.
The Aam Aadmi Party MLA, who was admitted to LBS Hospital around 9 PM, was kept at LBS the entire night under observation. Today, around 10.30 AM he was referred to AIIMS.

Doctors at LBS Hospital said Kumar's blood pressure and blood sugar level were found to be high.
"He complained of headache, chest pain and palpitation following which doctors conducted several tests which include ECG and Troponin T tests primarily performed to diagnose a heart attack and rule out other conditions with similar signs and symptoms," said a senior doctor at LBS Hospital.

Kumar was yesterday arrested in connection with a cheating and land-grabbing case and remanded by a court in two days' police custody.
The MLA from Kondli in East Delhi was arrested in connection with an FIR filed against him on May 19, 2014, on a complaint of cheating lodged by New Ashok Nagar resident Vijay Kumar.
