Ashok Leyland opens sixth service outlet in Riyadh

Hinduja Group flagship company Ashok Leyland today inaugurated its state-of-the-art service workshop in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, taking the total number of outlets in the region to six.
"Middle East is a very important area of focus for us. Saudi Arabia, especially, is a big market and this investment is a sign of our commitment and seriousness about the region", Ashok Leyland Managing Director Vinod K Dasari said in a statement.
"We have always believed in customer profitability and availability of proper service and parts is a very important aspect of business viability and long term service commitment," he said.

"The facility would help maintain leadership position along with (channel partner) Western Auto and we intend to add three more workshops in coming year", he added.
On the occasion, the company delivered 150 buses to customers through Western Auto, the statement added.
