Raju was speaking at a programme organised to mark the delivery of more than 2,500 ship sets of doors to Airbus.
HAL is one of the major suppliers to Airbus and doors manufactured by it are fitted on every alternate Single Aisle (SA) aircraft.
HAL and Airbus had started the business in 1990 by signing a contract for supply of 600 ship sets of doors, Raju said.
The HAL Aircraft Division has established a direct link with Airbus to access the necessary data for customisation, the company said, adding that the customised doors are directly delivered to Airbus' final assembly line at Saint-Nazaire, France.
