A 22-year-old aspiring architect was killed and her mother was injured after their scooter was hit by a truck in northwest Delhi, police said today.
The incident was reported yesterday when the mother-daughter duo, identified as Anju Sharma and Khushbu, was returning from the Keshav Puram area when their scooter was hit by the truck from the backside, they said.
Both the victims were rushed to the hospital where Khushbu was declared brought dead and her mother was being treated, police said.
The truck driver was nabbed by the passerby and later handed over to the police, they said.
