ATM loot foiled

An attempt to break open and
loot an ATM was foiled by police at Chota Gamariah, about 20 km from here, in Seraikela-Kharswan district, police today said.
A group of miscreants entered the State Bank of India's ATM last night, but ran away on noticing an approaching police party last night, Superintendent of Police Indrajeet Mahatha said.
Mahatha said the money in the ATM was safe.
