The band comprised of Liz McClarnon, Natasha Hamilton and Kerry Katona, have recorded new material, but admit they are still waiting for the right song to relaunch their pop careers with, reported Digital Spy.
"We have been recording new music but we all got busy, so it's been put on the back burner," McClarnon said.
"We also haven't quite found the right song. We want to be modern and stuff, but we don't want to lose that Atomic Kitten thing. You never know what might happen, we might get an amazing song and get the bug, and say, 'OK, we're back, forever," she added.
