Disney and Lucasfilm are currently in the middle of an extended casting search in London ahead of a filming start date next month.
Adam Driver has been strongly linked to a Sith role in Episode 7, while original trilogy stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford are expected to reprise their roles.
The storyline, penned by director JJ Abrams, Lawrence Kasdan and Michael Arndt, will take place 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi.
Abrams and Lucasfilm are yet to officially announce any new cast members, but Lupita Nyong'o, Michael Fassbender, Gary Oldman and Hugo Weaving have all been named as potential stars.
'Star Wars: Episode VII' is scheduled for release on December 18, 2015.
