Acting on a tip-off, police arrested Amarjeet Singh (31), Radhay Shyam (48), Dharmender Ram alias Bablu (28) and Rajender Singh (26) and seized a stolen car from them.
During interrogation, the trio confessed to their involvement in vehicle thefts. Two more stolen cars were recovered on their instance, police said.
Explaining the modus operandi of the gang, ACP Sanjay Kumar said, "They used to steal vehicles at night with the help of duplicate keys. Then changed the existing number plates with duplicate ones and parked the cars in a lonely place to sell them.
