Off late, lot of TV actors like of Ayushmaan Khurrana, Sushant Singh Rajput, Amit Sadh and Hussain Kuwajerwala have turned towards the big screen. Sharad has given memorable performance in TV serials like 'Uttaran, 'Saat Phere', 'Kuch Toh Log Kahenge' and others.
"I am doing 'Ram Leela'. And I am quite happy and excited about it. I think it is a big achievement for me," Sharad told PTI without divulging any details about his role.
All Sharad revealed is that he did have an audition for the role and is happy that he got it.
Reportedly, he will be seen as Deepika's elder brother and it is a key role.
Sharad had played the role of a villain in Vikram Bhatt's '1920: Evil Returns' that had Tia Bajpai and Aftab Shivdasani in the lead. That way this is not his Bollywood debut.
The TV actor is all praise for his director, and says, "Bhansali is brilliant person. He has a unique and classy style."
