The 'Hello Kitty' hitmaker took to Twitter to refute multiple reports suggesting she is being treated for substance abuse and depression as a result of her split from husband Chad Kroeger, reported E!Online.
Rumours have long-circulated that the star has broken up with the Nickelback frontman, who insisted in an interview last month that they are still together.
Lavigne laughed off the suggestion and insisted her only addiction is the music of festive crooner Bing Crosby before wishing her followers on the micro-blogging site a merry Christmas.
