The Executive Committee of MMRDA, headed by state Chief Secretary Swadhin Kshatriya, has accorded administrative approval to the appointment of Ayesa Ingenieria Arquitectura SAV as the detail design consultant, a statement said.
The firm is expected to develop architectural, electrical and mechanical plans and designs of all the 14 stations on the 16.5-km long metro-7 corridor.
Further, the firm will carry out design for the depot structure and proof-check the designs submitted by the contractors, the release stated.
The 14 stations on the metro-7 corridor are - Andheri (E), Shankarwadi, JVLR Junction, Mahanand, Aarey, Pathan Wadi, Pushpa Park, Bandongri, Mahindra & Mahindra, Magathane, Devipada, National Park, Ovaripada and Dahisar (E).
