Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today laid the foundation stone for the BRS Medicity, a 1.8 billion USD project, in the capital region.
The quantum and analytics healthcare centre is being set up with an investment of Rs 330 crore. It will consist of a research centre, quantum computing secure hardware zone and data centre, according to a release issued by the AP Capital Region Development Authority.
The quantum computing centre will employ 300 people, it said.
The BR Shetty group will also set up an International Baccalaureate School that could have could have an intake of 2,890 students and provide 500 jobs, it added.
