During the visit, the Chief Minister also listened to the Shabad Kirtan (religious hymns) before going to the Akal Takhat (highest Sikh temporal seat) to pay obeisance.
Special prayers for Badal were organised by priests of the Sanctum Sanctorum of the Golden Temple and Akal Takhat.
