The bicycles were distributed to 3,332 students of the schools in Edapadi and Sankari taluks in the district at a function in Edapadi, near here.
Besides, free mixies, grinders and electric fans were also distributed to beneficiaries under welfare schemes of Tamil Nadu government at the function and the total worth of goods distributed was Rs four crore.
