Delhi BJP today reacted sharply to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's charge that RSS and BJP want to fail odd-even car rationing scheme, saying the party was opposed to "financial bungling" and the inconvenience caused to people due to the scheme.
"BJP opposes the financial bungling and the inconvenience to the people due to odd-even scheme," Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay said in a statement.
If needed, the party will appeal to the people to "oppose" the scheme, he said.
"Last time, we had raised question against bungling in the name of civil defense and today we demand an inquiry into the bungling in which private bus operators have benefited," he said.
With a section of auto and taxi unions threatening to strike work on Monday, Kejriwal earlier today alleged that BJP and RSS want the odd-even scheme to "fail" but people will foil their designs.
"RSS and BJP want odd-even to fail but Delhi will fail BJP yet again," he tweeted.
