Haryana BJP today charged Haryana Janhit Congress Chief Kuldeep Bishnoi with working independently ahead of the forthcoming assembly elections due in October in such a manner as if he had broken the alliance with the saffron party.
Addressing a press conference here, BJP Legislature Party Leader Anil Vij accused Bishnoi of deliberately maintaining distance from BJP and not putting up pictures of BJP national leaders in hoardings during his political functions.
Questioning Bishnoi's capability to lead BJP-HJC alliance in the forthcoming assembly elections after losing his Lok Sabha seat from Hisar, BJP said party's parliamentary board will take a call on future of alliance with HJC in Haryana.
"Looking at his (political) programmes that he has started now, what we understand is that Kuldeep Bishnoi has broken the alliance (with BJP in Haryana). In his rallies, no BJP worker is informed about his programmes and there is no BJP flag at his programmes.
Moreover, pictures of BJPs national leaders are also not put up in his political functions which was earlier used to be a practice, Vij said.
Vij said Bishnoi had started maintaining distance from BJP after his drubbing in Lok Sabha polls from Hisar. "He (Kuldeep Bishnoi) is deliberately staying away from BJP in Haryana," Vij claimed.
Haryana BJP also accused Bishnoi of not following alliance 'dharma' being a leader of BJP-HJC alliance.
"He has not followed alliance dharma. During Lok Sabha polls, he should have campaigned for all ten Lok Sabha seats in Haryana. But he remained confined to just two seats - Hisar and Sirsa," Vij said, adding the party was not satisfied with HJC's performance during Lok Sabha polls.
