BJP Kisan Morcha proests against rising potato prices

Bharatiya Janata Party Kisan Morcha sold potoates for Rs 10 a kg to the general people here as part of the state-wide protest against the government's inability to contain the tuber's rocketing prices today.
The Morcha carried out its protest programme and sold two quintals of potato despite police objection.
"We are with the people," said BJP Jhargram town president Sukhomoy Satpathy.
The police seized a microphone and detained a party woker, who was later allowed to go free.
Haren Mahato, district president of Bharatiya Kisan Morcha and BJP district secretary Sanjit Mahato was present at the protest.
