Addressing a public meeting in Bikaner district as part of the Congress Sandesh Yatra, Gehlot said that his Gujarat counterpart Narendra Modi had spent two hours in Uttarakhand during which he was busy promoting himself instead of understanding the pain of the victims.
Gehlot also lashed out at former Rajasthan CM and state BJP president Vasundhara Raje for not bothering to visit the crisis-hit Uttarakhand.
Gehlot pointed out that he had spent for four days in Uttarakhand to supervise relief works carried out by his government there.
People from Rajasthan have so far contributed between Rs 35-40 crore for relief works, the CM added.
State Congress chief Dr Chandrabhan and other party leaders were also present at the meeting.
