The victim Manju Prasad, wife of Senior Manager of Indian Overseas Bank Shashi Prasad, and her son were found at their home last night.
Shashi Prasad, who was transferred to Kolkata, had asked one of his colleagues here to visit his home and made him to talk to his wife after his repeated call was not responded, police said adding it was found that the two were murdered.
Two mobile phones were recovered from the spot.
