Body of driver recovered

Police said the the person, Ramparasad Saha, used to work as a driver and stayed at Basistha area of the city.

Saha had left for his workplace on Monday morning and that was the last he was seen by his family.

Some locals in the area noticed his body lying next to a pond this morning and informed the police.

Police also recovered a big piece of stone next to the body. It is suspected that some unidentified assailants hit Saha with the stone and killed him.

His body has been sent for post mortem and police have started investigating the case.
