Krishna Kumar (58), was an assistant ticket inspector in DTC. Yesterday at around 8 PM he left his house at Nangal Thakran village to irrigate his field, they said.
His body was found lying in a pool of blood in the field later that night, a police officer said.
The body has been sent for postmortem and a case under Section 302 (punishment for murder) of the IPC has been registered against unknown persons, police said.
