Bombing kills one in Pakistan

At least one person was killed and 10 others injured, including two schoolchildren, today in a bomb blast in Pakistan's restive Balochistan Province, police said.
The bomb was planted in a car parked on the Sirki road in the suburban of provincial capital Quetta.
Police official Shaukat Jadoon said that the remote controlled bomb exploded when a police mobile security vehicle was passing by, causing minor damage.
He said one person was killed and 10 injured in the attack who were shifted to a hospital.
The injured also include some school children who were in van which was also passing through the road at the time of explosion.

Nobody took responsibility for the blast but Baloch nationalist often carry out such attacks.

In a separate incident, a principal of a private school was gunned down by unknown attackers in Gwadar area of the province.
A local police official said that the motive of killing was not known. The attackers fled after the incident.
The law and order situation in the province is not good and a few days ago provincial education adviser escaped an attempt on life.
Most of the attacks are carried out by the Baloch nationalists who claim that the mineral-rich province was kept impoverished by the federal government which is exploiting the wealth of the region.

So far thousands of people have fled the province due to deteriorating security.
