The affected villages are Ghania ke Bet, Kassowal, Puranawal, Lallowal Gunia, Saharanpur and Mansore.
The flood waters also breached an embankment on the Indian side after the flow of water increased sharply following recent heavy spell of rains, officials said.
Some BSF pickets on the India-Pakistan international border were also affected due to the flood in Basanter Nullah.
At least 200 persons across the Ravi river in Ghania ke Bet village were also stranded and took shelter in BSF relief camps.
The BSF has also started rescue operations in the flood affected areas.
