Boy killed in road accident while chasing kite in Punjab

A 15-year-old boy trying to catch a kite was killed when he was hit by a vehicle in Rajada village here, police said today.
According to the complaint filed by his father, Ranjodh Singh received serious injuries yesterday after getting hit by an unidentified vehicle when he was trying to catch a kite, they said.
"The boy later succumbed to his injuries," a police official said.
"Police have registered a case against the owner of the vehicle under relevant provisions of the law," he said.
