Bride among two killed in road accident

A bride and her sister in-law were killed and four others, including the bridegroom, injured when a jeep carrying them overturned near Shambhu Lohar Chowk in this district today.
The mishap took place when the jeep carrying a newly-wed couple and his close relatives lost control and overturned, police officials said.
While the bride Khushbu Khatun died on the spot, her sister in-law Shomni Khatun succumbed to her injuries in the Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).
The four injured, including the bridegroom Md Shahzade, were admitted to the same hospital.
The jeep was taking the couple and their close relatives to Shahzade's native village Simri after the marriage was solemnized last night, they said.
