BSF constable commits suicide

A BSF constable posted at Indo-Pak border in Ajnala Sector allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself in the chest with his service rifle today.
Shashi Kumar (23) recently reported on duty after spending a holiday with his family at Garhwal (Uttarakhand), a BSF official said.
Kumar was depressed due to family problems, the official said, adding his family members have been informed about the incident and they are expected to arrive at Amritsar tomorrow.
The body of Kumar will be handed over to family after autopsy, the official said.
