BSF head constable held for rape

A Head Constable of Border Security Force (BSF) was today arrested for allegedly raping a 30-year-old woman here, police said.
Following a complaint lodged by a woman residing in Ambikapuri locality here, BSF Head Constable Kailash Rathore, 42, was booked under section 376 (punishment for rape) of the Indian Penal Code and later arrested, an officer at the Aerodrome Police Station said.
The woman said in her complaint that on Wednesday the accused, who is her neighbour, forcibly took her to his room and sexually assaulted her.
He also threatened to kill her if she told about it to anybody.

Further investigation is on.
