Aamir, 50, who shared screen space with Salman in 1994's cult comedy "Andaz Apna Apna", took to Twitter to share the excitement.
"Can't wait to watch 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'!!!," wrote the "PK" star.
Aamir, whose Twitter outings are rare, was one of the early birds to unveil the first look of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" on the micro-blogging site in May.
The two stars have always remained friends since starring together in "Andaz Apna Apna".
"Bajranji Bhaijaan" also starrs Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazudding Siddiqui and child actor Harshaali Malhotra "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" besides Salman.
