Cardamom prices drifted by Rs 18.20 to Rs 1,112.90 per kg in futures trade today as traders reduced their holdings amid sluggish spot demand.

Besides, sufficient stocks in physical market influenced cardamom prices.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in April fell by Rs 18.20, or 1.60%, to Rs 1,112.90 per kg in a business turnover of 134 lots.

Market analysts said offloading of positions by traders amid a weak spot market trend on subdued demand mainly led to a fall in cardamom futures.
