The submission was made by CB-CID IG Maheshkumar Agarwal before Justice S Nagamuthu on a petition seeking a CBI probe into the murder of a retired Railway employee and his wife at Perumalpuram in Tirunelveli district on September 29, 2011.
The IG said the reinvestigation would be done by a special team, led by Addtional Superintendent of Police Marirajan and a report submitted before the court in June.
Recording the submission, Justic S.Nagamuthu posted to June last week the petition, filed by K Senthil Vinayakam, son of the deceased.
