"We may have to question Dr John Joseph. But we are yet to take a decision in this regard," CBI sources told PTI.
They said that two customs officers, arrested in connection with the smuggling in of gold bars, had named Joseph during interrogation.
Assistant Customs Commissioner, Anil Kumar, arrested two days ago, had told CBI that it was John Joseph who had sent him a SMS on Apr 14 asking him to provide all help to Faiz, the prime accused in the gold smuggling case.
Three customs officers, and four others including Faiz have so far been arrested in the case.
