CBSE chess tournament from Sept 23

Around 600 students from Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal and West Bengal will vie for top honours in the East Zone CBSE Chess Tournament at the Lakshmipat Singhania Academy from September 23-26.
"It's the pre-eminence of Lakshmipat Singhania Academy in the field of academics as well as co-curricular activities that the CBSE has bestowed upon us the responsibility of hosting the prestigious meet," the school stated in a release.
About 100 teacher-coordinators and officials will be present to oversee that the matches.
