Sukhbir Badal visits Chennai, Hyd to attract investors

Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal will be on a two-day visit to Chennai and Hyderabad from tomorrow to meet leading industrialists with an intention to attract investments in the state.
During the meeting with industry leaders, Badal will showcase investment opportunities in Punjab along with highlighting state as best investment destination.
Badal will meet representatives from Muruguppa Group tomorrow in Chennai, followed by another meeting with Dr Prathap C Reddy, Chairman of Apollo Hospitals, according to an official release.
He will also hold meetings with representatives of Flextronics and Tafe group.
While visiting Rane Group of industries, Badal will also have discussions with its Chairman Harish Laxman.
In Hyderabad on Friday, Deputy CM will hold a meeting with Uday Naidu, COO of GMR (MRO), followed by meeting with Deepanwita Chattopadhyay of IKP (ICICI Knowledge Park) and Amritanshu Roy of Alexandria Biotech Park, said the release.
Later in the evening, Badal will also meet Prabhakar Rao of Nuziveedu Seeds and then representatives of GVK group.
He will also hold a detailed discussions on why invest in Punjab with Ashok Atluri of Zen Technologies.
Describing his proposed meeting with industrial giants another big leap in state's development, deputy CM said that SAD-BJP government has taken massive steps and new initiatives to provide conduce and business friendly environment in industrial sectors.
He said that he would showcase the investment opportunities available in the state, incentives being provided by the government and the most important congenial business environment.
