The cell will comprise police and representatives of shipping and the tourism departments, an official release today said, adding that the Chief Secretary has been directed to work out the modalities in this regard.
Separately, the Lt Governor has also asked for streamlining of all water sports activities, particularly with regard to safety of users.
Meanwhile, a condolence meeting in memory of the 21 persons who lost their lives in the boat tragedy on Sunday, was held at the B R Ambedkar Auditorium here.
