The meeting comes a day after Naidu met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and had detailed discussions over a range of issues relating to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act besides Special Category Status for the bifurcated State.
TDP sources said that the meeting between the President and Naidu was a courtesy call, which lasted for about 30 minutes.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by some TDP MPs from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
