Check criminalisation of politics: Dal Khalsa to SAD govt

It appealed to the SAD-led government in Punjab to check criminalisation of politics.

Addressing a press conference here, Dal Khalsa leaders H S Dhami and Kanwar Pal Singh condemned the house arrest of separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani in Kashmir.

They lauded the grit of Manipuri activist Irom Chanu Sharmila who is on fast for 12 years protesting the Armed Forces Special Powers Act in the northeastern state.

They apppealed to Myanmar democratic icon Suu Kyi to take up her case.
