Child Rights Commission visits Greenfield School at Kakinada

A team from the Andhra Pradesh Child Rights Protection Commission visited the Greenfield School here today.
Comprising P Achyutarao and four other members namely Mamatha Raghuveer, Mohammed Raheemuddin, S Balaraju and S Muralidhar Reddy, the team visited Greenfield school near Timmapuram in East Godavari district.
The team inspects Greenfield school for visually impaired children, which hit the headlines recently after the brutal incident of school correspondent K V Rao thrashing three blind children with a cane, along with Principal Srinivas.
Later, commission members reviewed the situation at a special meeting at the collectorate's Vidhana Gowtami hall with district officials of various child related departments including education, child labour, labour welfare and health.
