Cholamandalam Q2 net profit up 4 pc at Rs 95 crore

Non banking finance company Cholamandalam Investment and Finance said here today that it reported a marginal 4 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 95 crore in the second quarter.
The company's profit after tax was Rs 90 crore in the same period last year.
Total income grew 14 per cent at Rs 919 crore as compared to Rs 809 crore in the year ago quarter, according to a release issued here today.
In the quarter, the company disbursed Rs 2,189 crore in vehicle finance as against Rs 2,138 crore in the year ago quarter.
It disbursed Rs 717 crore of home loans as compared to Rs 675 crore during the same period last year.
The aggregate disbursements for the quarter was Rs 3,028 crore as against Rs 2,827 crore.
