Over 1500 community people under the banner of 'Christians of Jamshedpur' assembled at St Joseph Welfare Centre here and held a silent protest and prayer yesterday.
A series of attacks on churches over the last two months was a matter of concern and the prime minister must speak out against it, a community leader said.
The community also expressed concern over observing 'Good Governance Day' on Christmas Day and religious conversions.
