Churu sizzles at 43.2 degrees C in Rajasthan

Churu was the hottest place in Rajasthan today recording a maximum temperature of 43.2 degrees Celsius followed by Sriganganagar at 42.7 degrees Celsius.
Kota, Jaipur and Jaisalmer recorded maximum temperature of 41.8, 41.6 and 41.5 degrees Celsius respectively whereas other places recorded day temperatures between 38.7 and 41 degrees Celsius, Met department said here.
Meanwhile, light rains occurred at isolated places in Jaipur division.
The MeT department has forecast thunderstorm accompanied with light rains at isolated places in the state during the next 24 hours.
