'CM Window' in Haryana gets maximum complaints from Panipat

The 'CM Window' in Haryana, a web-based system aimed at speedy redressal of people's grievances, has received maximum complaints, demands and suggestions from Panipat district.
The 'CM Window' was launched by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on December 25 last year in all districts of the state "to bring transparency in governance and ensure prompt redressal of people's grievances."
Panipat topped for having 3,323 numbers of "grievances, demands and suggestions" as of March 10 this year. A total of 35,360 complaints were uploaded at the 'CM Window' till March 10, the House was informed today.
Other than Panipat, other places where the grievances system receive complaints include Bhiwani, Sirsa, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Ambala, Mewat, Panchkula and Chandigarh.
Out of all the complaints, 16,557 have been redressed, the Assembly was informed in reply to a question.
In reply to another question, the Assembly was informed that complaints received from various districts are uploaded on the 'CM Grievance Redressal system'.
Meanwhile, Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has declared Kotputli-Narnaul-Mahendergarh-Dadri-Bhiwani-Hansi road as National Highway on the request of Haryana Government.
This was announced by Chief Minister Khattar during the ongoing Budget Session of the Assembly here today.
The Chief Minister said that he had earlier written a letter to the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari requesting him to declare this road as National Highway.
