Short, who attacked a man at Gabe's Bar and Grill, was charged with felony battery with serious bodily injury and released after posting a USD 50,000 bail, reported Ace Showbiz.
According to a statement from the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, Short and another patron had a disagreement. Short was accused of hitting the man, who ended up with a broken nose and was unconscious for a few moments.
The 31-year-old actor, who previously worked as a choreographer for Britney Spears, has had several run-ins with the law.
Earlier this year, Short was charged with misdemeanor spousal battery. A judge told him to stay away from his wife Tuere Short in March. He pleaded not guilty.
