Rajasthan Home Minister Gulabchand Kataria, while chairing a review meeting of Jail department, today asked the officials to coordinate with public works department involved in construction so that the work can be expedited.
He asked them ensure the work of underconstruction jail complexes in the state completes in given timeframe so that prisoners can be accommodated accordingly, an official statement said.
The minister, while reviewing various programmes and functions of the jail department, also asked the officials to ensure the attendance of medical officers appointed in jails in order to improve health facilities, it said.
