Congress leader's son robbed, assaulted in Noida

Congress leader Pitambar Sharma's son was allegedly robbed and assaulted by unidentified men near Swaran Nagri crossing here, police said today.
An FIR was registered in the case at Kasna police station, they said.
According to a complaint filed by the Congress leader, his son Kapil Sharma was returning home after dropping his friend at Greater Noida last night.
He said that three men in an Audi stopped Kapil near Swaran Nagri crossing and assaulted him.
They then took away his wallet and a gold chain, the complainant said.
Kapil was admitted at Kailash Hospital here following the incident, police said.
The matter is being probed, they added.
