The meeting was presided by party chief Sonia Gandhi. Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi was also present in the meeting which saw some MPs take up the matter vigorously.
Noting that AAP has been taking up the issue spiritedly, they pitched for raising it prominently by the party in Parliament next week.
At the Congress briefing, Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad merely said that the party was studying the report in the case and would come to some conclusion in two-three days.
Following a CBI raid in Delhi Secretariat in connection with charges against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's Principal Secretary Rajendra Kumar, AAP has been claiming that the Central agency carried out the searches to target the AAP chief and was looking for a file relating to graft in DDCA, a charge refuted by the Modi government as also the CBI.
Since then, the party has been demanding resignation of Jaitley from the Union Cabinet.
The Aam Aadmi Party today posed five queries to Jaitley relating to alleged corruption in Delhi's cricket body DDCA.
