Role of SC people specially of women and youth in up coming Assembly polls in the state would be the main agenda of the one day conference to be inaugurated by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Congress SC-cell President Shankar Yadav told a press conference here today.
In the last Assembly polls in 2008, out of 34 reserved SC seats, the Congress had won 18 seats, he said.
In the coming Assembly polls the Congress SC-cell would gear up the people of 59 communities under SC to win maximum seats, he stressed.
The Congress SC-cell would also announce its new executive committee immediately after the conference, he added.
